Fruit Mielleux (Honeyed Fruit)

I think everything sounds better in French.   Being in France is ideal, my favorite visit once was to the  little hilltop village of Perouge where the locals were welcoming and the food was magnifique’.   The French have a way of taking everyday ingredients and making them special.    This recipe is just that –  a healthy, colorful salad to add several servings of raw fruits into your daily diet.     You can substitute any of the fruits to suit your taste and availability of produce.  Use only organic lemons and oranges for the zest.   Citrus essential oils like lemon and orange are distilled from the rind giving the dressing more depth in flavor than just the juice.  Ideally use organics for the fruits that are not peeled: blueberries, strawberries & grapes.   I used some raw local honey to support local farming.   Bon Appetite’
